Land Acquisition
One of the most important tools that a community improvement corporation possesses is its ability to buy land and accept the donation of land. Land donation to a 501c3 qualified community improvement corporation provides a tax credit to the donor. The Twinsburg Community Improvement Corporation has benefitted from such a donation recently. A property on E. Aurora Road was donated to the TCIC and is now for sale. Its sale will enable the organization to purchase land in its target area of central Twinsburg.
